A1 Challenge face off against defending champions KCC Leopards in this weeks "Friday night lights" game at YMCA Kampala,7pm.

The history of these two teams leaves no doubt as to the fact that there is no love lost on the court between the two top sides. A1 Challenge goes into this game like a wounded lion with memories of their championship loss to KCC in the playoffs finals last year. With 5 new all-star signings on the team roster this year, one may say that A1 Challenge will put the Leopards to the task.

A1 Team Captain Gloria Kyomugisha is confident that her team is well prepared and is ready to get the job done. The team will also be relying on their coach and tactician Hamza Nyambogo although they will still miss Namayega Josephine who is away in Nairobi for rugby and also defensive player and assistant captain Okot Barbara who has just resumed training from ankle and knee injury.
